Mazda Tribute

Does anyone drive a Mazda Tribute? How do you like it? How is the fuel consumption? We are looking for a new (to us) vehicle and this is one we are seriously considering. Any other suggestions in the same price range are welcome!

Re: Mazda Tribute

  • I have a 2006 Ford Escape which is the exact same vehicle. Ford actually owns Mazda so they are on the same exact platform. My vehicle is a V6 AWD so it does consume a bit of gas but I haven't had much problems with it.

  • My FH has had one for the last two years. It is a 2000 and has 200000 kms on it. I like it. Its comfy and very spacious. The only thing I don't like is there is lots of random cabin noise. Not road noise but tiny little squeking you can't find or rattling. Its not very loud but noticable. We are thinking of selling it in a year or two before the km's pass 250. The engine in this vehicle is quite small for the size of the vehicle so it can kind of be gutless (if your not getting the V6). That doesn't brother us though as we are both "stick to the speed limit" kind of people. Gas is good for a SUV.
