Sentimentality Inside
I had my first shower over the weekend, and my aunts and cousins went above ane beyond. I'm so glad I wore waterproof mascara!
There were two big highlights though, first this was the first time since my grandmother passed in December my very close family had gotten together. Also my Uncle (who is also my God-father) is loaning me the baby Moses basket he brought back from Kenya when he was a missionary, for me, 32 years ago.
The original bedding my mom made is still in it too. Cletus will be the 10th child in my family to have used it. We're going to replace the foam, and even though I thin the bedding is ugly we're keeping it for sentimental reasons.
A few pics, it looks almost brand new. i'm so honored to have been entrusted with this family heirloom.
