Wacky Chart/Wacky Cycle/ preg question
Heya Ladies! I tried to decide on which board to post this on and figured this one would be the least irritating to those with T-TTC (hopefully, I'm sorry if you are and stumbled upon this).
So DH and I have been TTA (money reasons), but we decided to have fun a couple of weeks ago (I was drunk he was tipsy at least) and I'm not sure if he used protection and neither is he. The next morning I didn't freak because I figured we'd be in the clear since my chart (in siggy) was broadcasting ovulation late that week. Not to mention I would be super excited if I was preg, so baby would be wanted 
.
Well fast forward to the past two weeks. Bbs are super sore and tender I hate putting bras on and it hurts worse to take them off, add to that headaches, nausea, slight cramping. Does that equal AF taking way too long to get here, or pregnancy? I also had a UTI less than 2 weeks ago and wondering if the antibiotics are messing with me....WDYT?
Again sorry if this is irritation or off topic....let me know and I'll DD if need be.
Since it's my first month charting I do realize it was probably stupid of me to rely on it, but hindsight is 20/20 and all the jazz. AF won't be here until this weekend, FF forecasted, but I'm going to wait til next weekend to test if she's a no show.

Have you taken a test? You had a temp drop, so I would **think** you are probably not pregnant, but I'd test if you haven't already.
You may want to post this on the Getting Pregnant board, there are some charting experts of sorts over there.

I've been charting to avoid for almost 3 years and I have to say - I don't trust FF for the most part. I find that a lot of times the ovulation date is wrong. You might want to try the software from Ovusoft.com. It's $40 but WAY more accurate in my opinion.
I would say test. That chart is so wacky I don't think you can even be sure you've ovulated at all, and I really don't trust that O-date it gives you. Go to the Dollar Store and get a test - wouldn't it be worth $1 to know?
Just some advice for future TTA - if you're not POSITIVE you have definitely ovulated, never go unprotected. Oopses happen BEFORE you ovulate because sperm can live 5 - 7 days in even just a little fertile cervical fluid. If you're very motivated to avoid don't count on when you've ovulated in the past - every cycle can be different. When in doubt AT ALL use a condom.

Thank you. Unfortunately my dollar store doesn't have pregnancy tests. Weird I know. I will keep that in mind about FF, was it wrong for you frequently?
POAS! There are plenty of generic brands out there that will work just fine and don't cost an arm and a leg. Your temp drop does indicate that you probably aren't pregnant but it is always wise to poas to ease your mind.
I used FF for a while to TTA and it wasn't wrong for me. And I conceived DS while trying to avoid-add a little(ok a lot) of alcohol and whoops there go the condoms.

meg is so right, i live in a small town and bought the cheap off-brand tests and they were a joke, the whole box was WRONG, WRONG,WRONG, they said NEG. and well, now I have a 9mo old little man crawling all over the house. lol
