Good morning!

Happy Monday ladies!  (Not so sure there's such a thing as a "Happy" Monday, but it's here regardless)

How was everyone's weekend?  I had a really good weekend.  DH went to Cali for a band photo shoot thing Friday night, so I just chilled at home.  Watched Precious (Didn't love it.  It was okay, but I thought they made some parts kind of cheesy)

Saturday I met up with some friends that were in town up in Glendale.  We hung out at their family's house, and had a nice bbq.  I left from there to pick up DH from the airport, and then we went back to spend some more time with them.  We got home pretty late that night.

Sunday, we cleaned the house from top to bottom, and met up with the friend who is in town for dinner.  (his wife had headed back home to California already) and he came over & spent the night.  It's DH's bff, so I let them be silly boys in the studio/office, and hung out watching tv.  It was so nice being able to spend some time with such good friends.  We're working at talking them into moving here.  :)  They are considering it, but probably not as seriously as we'd like them to.  :)

Anything exciting going on this week for anyone?

Re: Good morning!

  • Good Morning, it really isn't that bad for a Monday. This weekend was a good one, Saturday my parents, my nephew and I went to the Chandler Ostrich Festival but it was so crowed  that we left after only being there for 1 1/2 hours. We didn't even really get to see the Ostriches races either. Then I made then dinner, chicken parmesan, it was yummy.

Sunday, DH had the day off and we went to see She's out of your League. That movie was really funny and I wasn't expecting it to be that funny but wow it was. Then we went to Chandler Mall and walked around a little. Then off to do some grocery shopping. Overall good weekend. I hope the week treats me well too.

  • Nothing too exciting over here.  I had plans to get things done around the house - and ended up spending zero time at home.

Friday DH and I went to see Alice in Wonderland

Saturday I had a work picnic, then went to see Remember Me

Sunday we celebrated my brother's birthday, then met up with friends to celebrate another birthday.

    Today came WAY too quick!

Jealous, I want to see AIW but no one will see it with me. I googled the end of Remember and OMG, what an ending.

Really?  That sucks!  There is totally no shame in going to a movie by yourself though :)

I knew the end of RM going into it and I'm so glad I did.  I don't think I could have handled the shock of it.

Haha, I know. Going to a movie alone is on my list of 101 in 1001. I still haven't gone but I hope to get the courage soon and go alone.

If I see it now, I am glad I found out because I am such a cry baby. I cried at the Blind Side. Then I cried watching Marely and Me while on my flight home from London, bad idea people looked at me crazy. oh well I cry, it happens

Holy crap, Marley and Me even had my hub's eyes watering (I was crying harder than I ever had for any movie)!  I cannot even imagine if I was on a plane and saw that.Embarrassed

I BAWLED during Marley and Me.

  • I honestly don't know what would possess someone to create a movie like that.  There is no reason to be that sad at the end of watching a movie.  I was ruined for the evening. Ha.

  • My weekend was nice- just relaxed a lot after going back to work.  Also had a few things to do to get ready for my trip.

    Is it Friday yet?
