Weekend update
So, for those of you who know my in-laws are in town, here's an update. So far, probably the most drama-free visit ever. However, as to not disappoint, his mom is still BSC. Saturday evening we stayed in because they were tired (understandable as they chose to drive all night instead of sleeping and then driving in the morning). When DH tried to make his 21 year old sister a drink, their mom made her go to bed with her so she couldn't have it. Sunday, we told them we had to leave the house at 9:00 for a festival we were all going to and meeting friends at. At 10:15, they still weren't ready so we had to leave without them. They finally show up almost 2 hours after that and bring chairs. His mom tries to take our sleeping goddaughter away from her dad and bogart her off (our friends were clearly not keen on this). They proceed to just sit the rest of the time we're there. They were then too tired from all the walking back to the car to do anything else the rest of the day. (we left there at 2)
This morning they were planning to get up at about 3 to drive 2 1/2 hours to Houston to spend the day. No surprise that they ended up waking up when my alarm went off. There went my hot water!
