hair dye

I'm slowly getting greener with each new product I purchase.  Are there any hair dyes that are "green?"  I need an all over dark brown color.

Re: hair dye

  • I didn't look at the package, but when I was at Target on Saturday they had some hair dyes labeled "natural" above the Yes to Carrots products at mine.  I'm not sure how truly green it was though as I don't dye my hair and therefore didn't look at the package.

I know there are ways to have green hair dye - more with veggie dyes and less chemicals.  I"m not sure how effective they are though...

  • Really the only truly 'green' option is henna. EVERYTHING else is full of chemicals, regardless of how 'herbal' they claim to be.

I started dying my hair with henna a little over a month ago and LOVE it. I did two blog posts about my experience...check them out here:
