The "new" nautical trend . . .

Are you for it or against it?

I am for. But I've always love navy blue and red and stiped shirts . ..  so I'm just happy they're easier to find now. I don't know if I'll go so far as to buy something with an anchor on it, but maybe a bag . . .

Re: The "new" nautical trend . . .

  • I love anything beachy, but I try not to wear too much nautical stuff which will get me labeled as an overly zealous Navy wife.  Stick out tongue

  • I like it in small doses.

  • I love it.  I love white and navy and anything boatneck.  I also love shorts with little prints on them which I am not sure is actually in this group but I dont care, I love it anyway.  It reminds me of being a kid and my mom had a whale belt.  I have the same one now and I also have navy shorts with little whales on them.  My ginormo boobs dont really allow for too much in the stripe family though.

This!  I love boatnecks and stripes but the bewbies kind of make it hard to wear anything striped.  I am going to hit up Gap though and see what looks good...just as soon as DH is in Omaha for the weekend ;)   Mama needs some new threads!

  • I've got the shoulders of a linebacker BUT... Love me some boatneck tops!

I'd love the button front sailor pants, but my 'belly'-not so much.  Well, maybe more my hips than my belly. Darn you HIPS!

I've vowed to not get anything new til I get to my lower clothing size. So far, yeah...

  • Some things just don't scale well to a size 26.  I'll pass.

  • I think that boatneck tops have the most flattering lines, they are my favorite.
  • Love the colors, love boatnecks, can't wear stripes (which makes me sad!). But overall, I love nautical because it generally looks classy, IMO :).
  • When I hear nautical I have a hard time not thinking of this:

I guess I will have to go to the store and check out the new styles.
