I noticed that Gudonya is highly recommended around here. I want to try it but I am not sure what scent shampoo. Any recs? I generally like mild scents. TIA!
Re: Gudonya?
I have not run into a scent I have not liked yet. I have tried: Tahatian Vanilla (probably my fav), Mayan Gold, Oh So Delicious, and Spa Fusion.
Good Luck
Miles (6 year old Maine C00n mix), Boots (5 year old Lab mix), Darla (4 year old GSD/Collie mix), Frankie (1.5 year old DSH mix), Peanut (15 months old - 09/11), and Bean (arriving Feb 2013).
Here are the ones I've tried:
Tahitian Vanilla - more of a fruity vanilla fragrance than a vanilla bean fragrance. I really loved it, but whenever Jeff would come into the bathroom while I was showering he thought that it smelled like cigarette smoke. We finally realized it was the Tahitian Vanilla, after a few trials to see if that's really what was causing the smell.
Wild Strawberry - it smells like strawberry, but to me it's too fake and not like real strawberries. It reminds me of a local made strawberry ice cream that I'm not a fan of. I can use it now and then, but not on a regular basis. Once it's gone I won't be buying it again.
Oh So Delicious - it's supposed to be an apple type smell. It smells good, but I don't really get an apple scent. Jeff does a little bit, though. To me, it smells kind of perfume-y. I don't think I'll get it again.
Cha-Cha Chai - definitely my favorite. It's a little bit spicy/clove-y and yummy smelling. It's not Jeff's favorite, but since it doesn't smell like cigarette smoke, he has to deal with it.
DH LOVES LOVES LOVES the spiced lime. It is a citrusy musky scent that he has coined his signature scent.
I have enjoyed:
Mayan Gold -- which made me wary because of the Patchoilli in the description, but it doesn't smell like it at all to me.
Spa Fusion -- reminds me of shampoo... just that classic clean smell with hints of floral.
Cha-Cha-Chai -- was too sweet for me. It wasn't as spicy/clove-y as I would like. As to Jeff&Em found out that DH HATES clove smells... shame as that is what I use for everything... he says it reminds him of clove cigarettes.
I also have the Amber/Sandlewood once which I am excited to try, as it smells very yummy.
The Lemon one (something Italian) was also pretty sweet smelling.
And we have the mint avocado for shaving. Which DH uses. It smells great.
My theme... I don't like sweet! But the more earthy ones I love! Just my taste though :-)
I like sweeter scents but I love th epumpkin caramel cheesecake. Smalls like a pumpkin mixed with vanilla. I also am using the cotton candy now which smells more like a bubble gum. It's a fun scent for spring and matches with a perfume I use (so not green friendly).
I really want to try the mocha cafe rarazz flavor next.
