DS - 1st BDay - Need Ideas
We are having a huge BBQ for our son's upcoming 1st Birthday the first weekend in May. We picked sports as our theme and are thinking of doing all kinds of food you find at ballparks.
I am looking for suggestions on food and decorations.

What about making the invites tickets? We did this for our son's Thomas-themed birthday (train tickets), but it would work well for sports event ticket invitations as well. I just made it in paint, then printed on matte photo paper.
I also have no idea how much it would cost to rent one of these, but how about a sports-themed jumper?
Ideas:
-Custom family "team" jerseys or dress as refs
-A HORSE contest that's multi-generational
-Do bags of custom popcorn or peanuts as favors
-Decorate each table with a different sport , fake grass w/ yard lines
