Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

so i am happy to see that the nest has worked out the PM notifications (to where I actually get one now!). it's only w/the initial PM though, not with replies...but I'm glad to see they finally got it working.
but my chief gripe is that i am still getting asked to update my info all the time!! i have even unsubscribed from all the newsletters and then notice that they are checked off again the next time it asks me to update so my unchecking isn't changing anything!
anyway, just FYI 
in case you wanted to let the nest gods know

Ugh trust me, I'm with you on this one. I still get that freaking update notice all.the.time (it's especially annoying when you're trying to post something and it makes the Nest eat the post!). I don't know when they're going to get it fixed, but I hope it's soon because it's making me CRAZY!
Plus, as you said, it doesn't change anything anyway so it seems pointless...
If anyone other than me and Jaime are reading this, are you still getting the update notices too?
this has happened to me too...but luckily i am using firefox and it seems to save the post somehow so i just hit the "back" button and my post is still there
maybe you can try that too

Yep. My real annoyance is that my profile defaults to sending me those stupid nest newsletters each time, and if I forget to uncheck them my inbox gets spammed.
