Any beer lovers?

Apparently, there is a beer fest at Waterford Lakes this weekend.  I unfortunately will not be around to enjoy it, but thought I'd share if anyone or their DH's love beer?

Re: Any beer lovers?

  • Oh yes, DH and I love beer. We don't taste as much new stuff as we did for a while because we're watching our budget, but my husband posts and rates beers on ratebeer.com and we go to their tasting events every now and then.

I don't think we'll make it to the event this weekend, but I definitely appreciate the heads-up. And if you need any suggestions on good beer bars or stores, let me know. I'd be happy to talk beer. Beer

  • Too bad my husband won't be home Saturday.  Boo!  He likes beer and likes trying different kinds.  I do too, but I have absolutely NO tolerance anymore.  We went to one of these a couple years ago, but I was the dd so I didn't get to try too many.  It was still a lot of fun.  I would like to go again when I can drink!
  • I'm a huge beer lover but didn't make it out for this...and Brevard ladies, my favorite place is World of Beer in The Avenue Viera.  The bartenders even know us by name now!!  :)  40 beers on tap and 500 bottled.  My version of heaven!

  • Man, just missed this post.

Next time we're over in Orlando, we're planning on checking out the organic brewery that was at our local health store giving out samples earlier this month. http://www.orlandobrewing.com/index2.php they have brewery tours too, which I've been wanting to do for so long. I tried Olde Pelican and it was rich and heavy, but good!
