I forgot I had movie reviews too

Hurt Locker - How this movie won anything is beyond me.  There was no depth to the characters and the plot was shaky at best.  And for the love of god it would not end.  I love war movies but this was just not worth my time.

Run Fat Boy Run.  It was cute.  Not nearly as good as Shawn of the Dead or Hot Fuzz. It's a good rainy day movie.

Re: I forgot I had movie reviews too

  • Yeah, I was not into the main character of the Hurt Locker. I'm tired of male characters that are modeled off other male characters from movies instead of from real life. It's boring to me. Though I do like the actor in general.
  • I had not even heard of the Hurt Locker until the Oscars.  Thanks for the reviews though.  I actually totally forgot about Run Fat Boy Run, I pph Simon Pegg.

I have heard it depicts soldiers in an unflattering light and so I will not see it.  Our friend that was in Iraq and would have had that job said that he turned it off after 30 minutes.  I think its great that it raises awareness of the tough and dangerous job that our soldiers do...but if it doesn't do it in an honorable way than No

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • I thought the movie was very 'blah,' and certainly nothing special / different from the typical, jaded war movie you see these days. I suppose it was well-produced, but I really don't get all the hype over it (other than it being directed by a woman).
