So Austin is getting a bit big for the infant sling for the bathtub we have for him...I keep having to scootch him up on the sling every time he starts kicking and having a good time....it so frustrating because he isn't old enough to sit up yet....what did you do/use for this stage??
Jeanette - didn't you recommend a tub once?
Re: Infant bathtubs
i had the infant to toddler tub with the hammock. He went from the hammock to the reclining side, and then to the sitting up side.

Buy the Prima tub by Eurobath. They sell it at BRU and it has a side for reclining and a side for sitting up. It is the biggest baby tub I could find and her should be able to use it until he is ready to sit in the regular bathtub.

I used this for Jude from about 4 mos until a little over a year.

Cheap, simple - and the sides are thick, so even though he couldn't sit up unassisted yet, even if he fell to the side he wasn't going anywhere. ?I definitely kept my hands on him at all times in the beginning, but it worked out so great and I used it up until he really started to get too big - now we just use the tub.
