Do you know anything about taking tylenol with codiene while BFing?
I am on it right now and don't know if I can BF or not. I know I need to wait 24 horus for the anesthesia to get out of my system, but not sure about the codiene....

Is that the same as Vicodin or Percocet? ?I have been given both- after my c-section and once for my nerve pain. ? I was told that they were both ok to take while BFing, but I have rarely taken it out of paranoia. ?When I took them, it was after Ben had fed and been put down for the night. ?But if I had really needed it during the day, I would have taken it- my OB has told me over and over and over again that he wouldn't have prescribed anything not safe to take with the baby. ?I worried more about the drowsiness effects and having to take care of Ben than I did the meds passing to him, to tell you the truth.
Call your OB or doc who prescribed it, to make sure..GL! ?And I hope you feel better soon.?
