Today starts my favorite time of year...the NCAA tournament. I love that I can turn on the television and watch basketball for hours each day over the next four days and then I get a repeat next weekend. Really, it's a good thing. My not so good thing is the fact that I've only had 3 hours of sleep and today is my first attempt at going back to work after being off sick for 3 days. It's going to be a long, long day. My hope is that it goes by quickly, though.
Positive note: weather is going to be in the upper 60s today and tomorrow. Yay for sunshine in Indiana!
Re: March madness...really
My Blog!
As much as I want to be, I'm just not that into sports unless it involves one of my Wisconsin teams in a game of some importance. That, or if I get to see a game in-person.
But I do enjoy having my brother (and now, DH) make me a bracket and following the games. I think someone got clued in a year or two ago, though, when my brother was advising me over the phone, told me that "Yukon" was going to win one of the games. So I wrote down, "Yukon." Turns out that he meant U-Conn (University of Connecticut). Embarrassing!
My sister is the same way about sports. A few years back she had my brother make her bracket for her work pool. She won. She was one of only a few female employees, and apparently received some raised eyebrows when she won. When she was asked if her husband had picked the teams, she laughed it off, smiled and said that she picked the winners based on who had the better school colors.
Smarta$$.
Gotta tell ya, your Badgers have a good chance of being a sleeper team! Maybe you should watch! I am, however, predicting KY to win it all. I still have to make my bracket though, as DH conveinetly reminded me this morning.
