Legal gals - expunge something from record
My husband just recently found out about a theft charge showing up on a background check from 11 years ago. He was never served any papers and the case is still open in Ohio. What does he need to do to go about having it expunged from his record? He called the court house and they told him its still an open case. Isn't there a statue of limitations on something like that. He never got anything on this. The only reason he found out about it was because of a background check. He has been unable to find employement because of this and wants to get this taken care of. I'm clueless when it comes to stuff like this and we have no idea where to start with this.
