IPad

I am thinking about getting an IPad once they come out and maybe have been out for a while so that they get all the glitches fixed with the software and such. What do you think of them?  Good Product or waste or  money?

Re: IPad

  • I think they're just a glorified iPodTouch. Complete waste of money.

  • Yup, they're probably glorified iTouch or iPhones, but I still want one once Apple fixes all the little glitches!
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • I vote waste of money.  Seems like just another gadget that doesn't fill any gap.  I might consider it if I was a road warrior and traveled weekly but that would be it...and even then I'd probably just stick with a laptop!
  • Depends on what you plan to do with it. I don't wast my time watching movies on my touch, the screen is to small. If I want to be watching TV with the hubby and surf the net at the same time I would use it. I think it has a lot of potential. If I'm at the coffee shop waiting for friend I don't want to haul my laptop around but still want a good screen size I would use it.

I would love it in my kitchen. Have my online recipes right there so I don't have to print them out.

On the recipe thought, they have something for this. It's called Demy.

  • I'm waiting until the iPad has handwriting recognition. Until then, my 13" laptop does WAY more than the iPad :)
