I planted my onions, kale, spinach, and potatoes outdoors 2 weeks ago. They're all sprouting. Tulsa is now under a winter storm watch with as much as 4-8 inches of snow over the weekend (and it's 70 today!). We're going out of town for the weekend -- can I, or should I, do anything to protect my garden growth?
Thanks,
Gardening Newbie
Re: snow coming, help!
Yeah, I was going to plant my lettuce this week (my soil here in OK has a lot of clay and really just dried out enough to be worked!) but decided to hold off until after this storm. Hopefully the sun will be out enough in the following days to dry the soil out again so I can get to work!
Good luck and stay warm! Gotta love a snowstorm on the first day of spring :P
