Re: Weekend Plans?
Tonight: It's date night! We're going out to dinner and then heading to a bookstore to browse and get dessert.
Saturday: We're in the process of remodeling our bathroom and tomorrow's exciting adventure is to bring bags and bags and bags of pepto bismol pink tile to the dump. Whooo hooo! lol. Afterwards, we're going to do some major gardening. The day will probably end with grilling dinner and a movie at home.
Sunday: I'm hosting a baby shower at a local tea room. Once that's over, I'll probably do some food shopping and cooking for the week.
Tonight - I'll be happy eating leftovers and not doing much of anything.
Saturday - I'm going to a Mac & Cheese festival of sorts!!! You all know how much I love my Mac & Cheese :-) K got me tickets to the fundraiser for my birthday so Abba916 and I are going. I'm going to skip breakfast and then eat my way through 12 different types of yummy pasta and cheese goodness.
Sunday - shopping, shopping, shopping! We desperately need to do a bulk store run as well as grocery store trip. I'd also like to grab the last few baby related items we have on our shopping list.
Oh and K has decided to paint her office this weekend. Lovely. The baby could theoretically come 3hrs from now, 3 days, or 3 weeks. Why paint now?

Tonight: visit w/ some friends
Tomorrow: yard work, gardening, play outside, and in the evening we're getting together with A's side of the family to celebrate birthdays. Please send "behave in the restaurant" vibes to the kids...the last time we ate dinner out was a nightmare.
Sunday: Church, belated St. Patty's dinner w/ my parents, more outside play and some errands.
TFW: good luck this weekend! my fingers are crossed for you.
Two: yummm!

Tonight - my parents are dropping off our crib! My only other plan is to go bed as early as possible. I'm thinking 8:00 sounds good.
Tomorrow - Birthing class in the AM. We have a painter coming in the afternoon to give us an estimate (we've done a good bit ourselves and want to see how much it would cost us to have a pro finish). I'm going to see if my dad will come by to help us with some odds and ends around the house - I hate not being able to move furniture myself!! We'll probably put the crib together too. That night we are going to see my little sister in a play.
Sunday - I think my family is going to come over for a bit to help with more house stuff. C and I would like to go to Ikea too - if nothing else, we want to look at dressers for the nursery.
My overall hope is that we will get enough done for me to feel like we're accomplishing things and moving forward, without overdoing it and feeling exhausted by the end of the weekend. Hopefully this happy medium is possible!

Tonight: Belated birthday dinner for me, C and SIL, with nephew and BIL as well at Benihana. Then early sleepy-time for me since I worked overnight last night and only got 3 hours sleep.
Tomorrow: Early morning for a continuing education meeting for other postpartum doulas that I organized. My first one with a speaker, so I'm excited and hopeful that it will go smoothly. In the afternoon I have an interview for a birth client in July and then research interviews with two (expecting) mixed-race LGBTQ moms. Then dinner at home and organizing the basement.
Sunday: Sleeping in or IKEA, then another research interview in the afternoon and another overnight session.
No idea about the rest of the weekend. I am sure we'll spend a good bit of it outside and maybe I'll clean the water table and let the kids play while I clean the grill for the first grilling of the season!
*True* WOW! you are so right...LO is right around the corner...sending you heartfelt vibes!
Weekend: Who knows...MIL leaves EARLY Sunday morning (YAY...oops, I was typing out loud...twb, I am just kidding
). But with that said, Sunday we plan to get the LO's outside for 5 minutes to help the jaundice. They seem to be doing better, but are still a little yellow. Sunday evening some friends from work are coming over...we are looking forward to that.
