I know it is only March but I am ready either some better luck to start soon or the year to end quickly and hope that 2011 is my year.
In January I find out I have diabetes and I can't TTC until that is under control. We are already old and have fertility issues so waiting 4 months isn't a great option.
In February we find out we have to pay taxes after we were expecting a really nice return and I find out my job is being outsourced to India and I will only be employed for a few more months while I train someone to do my job.
Yesterday my car died...I was on my way home from work and all of a sudden there was a little bit of smoke coming from behind the steering column. It scared me so I quickly pulled over and shut the car off. Now it won't start. We got it towed to my brother's house and hopefully he can figure out what is wrong and fix it without it costing us a ton. We can't afford another car with my job situation so will have to make due with one car for a while if it can't be fixed.
Fortunately it is Friday, the weather is beautiful and my boss said I could work from home this afternoon.
My mom and her husband are coming up from Florida for a visit and DH and I are going to meet up with them for the weekend....unfortunately the weather is supposed to turn cold and possible SNOW showers...yep that's just my luck...SNOW showers.
Sorry the vent is so long.
Re: 2010 isn't starting well (vent)
I'm so sorry all this is happening.
JMO but your car sounds like it might just be a wiring problem. This happend to our neighbo not long ago and DH found that some wires had gotten crossed and shorted out. GL!!
I hope your year gets TONS better!!!
Booo for a yucky start to 2010! Hope you cang et the car figured out and it is not an expensive fix!
GL!!
So sorry the year is turning out stinky!... Maybe the beautiful weather will help turn things around!...
T&P to you that it does!
and way to go for having a boss sending you home to enjoy it, too!
Hoping that things start going your way in 2010!
Ditto! I'm sorry to hear all of this has piled on right now...when it rains it pours. I hope things start to look up for you soon!
