Did you see this yet? I told Ben and now he's all excited...he's the biggest PW groupie. Stick out tongue

Re: anyone read the Pioneer Woman's blog?

  • oh wow!  how exciting!
  • how cool... never heard of her before, but i dig the blog.  def a few recipes i plan to try for my own marlboro man!

  • I tried some of the recipes before...they're yummy! But I was at B&N the other day and I think that she actually released a book of her stuff! Cool =)
  • I've never seen this blog before! Interesting!
  • Yay for her!! I love the story of how her and her husband met =) Reminds me a little of MH & me in a way (but not as extreme because we're living in a suburban area now) because I'm a total city girl and my husband grew up on a ranchette (hence our dog killing one of his parents' sheep =/). I'd love to see her movie when it comes out!

Her recipes are excellent! I've honestly never tried one that I didn't really enjoy. We bought her cookbook for MIL for Christmas - I like that it's full of real food...you know, stuff you'll actually make for dinner vs things that look nice but are overly complicated. Very much homestyle food (not diet friendly though lol).

  • I've checked out her blog for recipies & the georgeous photos but I never knew about her harlequinesqe novel.  *swoon*  I've been reading it off and on all day.  This totally needs to become my dog-eared summer paperback and a chick flick.
  • I learned about her blog last year and have been a faithful reader since. For Christmas I got her cook book and everything I've made so far has been awesome. Except the pico de gallo, but um...that was my fault. too much jalapeno = my husband's first pico de gallo taste not going so well

  • I just discovered the PW a few months ago when I went off on Mat leave.  I love her recipes.  She makes me want to cook!  I'm not a very skilled cook, I never helped my mom in the kitchen, so I appreciate that she shows pictures of the steps.  Plus she cracks me up!

If you haven't tried the Asian Noodle Salad it's delicious.

  • i've known about her for a while but don't follow her blog religiously, though i do try a lot of her recipes :) i think her blog is great and that's so cool that they are going to make her story into a movie!!
