Need your help- DH and I are disagreeing...
My DH and I are disagreeing about this, so I'm going to ask you ladies to see
I always use my laptop in the car when we drive long distance- either to watch DVDs, maybe a little work, etc.
When I use my vehicle charger to charge my laptop, does it "eat" gas? Do you think it'll drain the car battery too quickly?
Also- when you use a/c or heat in the gar, does it "eat" the gas?
(I feel so silly asking these questions...)
Re: Need your help- DH and I are disagreeing...
No no no.
Dh is not only a computer programmer/IT/fix just about anything to do with computers but he's a major car guy (he races too).
The laptop charging will not eat gas nor will it drain the battery (as long as it's plugged in while the car is running).
Heat does not eat the gas either but a/c will.
Hence the reason neither one of us uses a/c in our cars unless we really really have to.

I used to be an automotive engineer and all the above info is correct.
