Match Day results!
This post is mostly for dandy and angelfire since I just saw they asked, and I doubt too many of you care since I'm hardly ever on here anymore, but Match Day was on Thursday! For those of you who don't know, it's the day that all of the 4th year American medical students find out what residency programs they've been "matched up" with.
We kind of wanted to be in NY to be closer to my family, but my husband got his 3rd choice of Yale for psychiatry. We were both kind of like "Oh." when he opened the envelope, but as the day went on we were more okay with it. It is slightly closer to NY than our current location, and since we won't be spending all of our money on food and rent, we'll be able to get a nicer place in CT and try to have a baby next year. Or possibly get a pug 
.

Yale is about 45 mins. south of where we live now. We're hoping to rent a condo on or near the beach if we don't end up in New Haven. We walked around downtown over the weekend and honestly I felt so unsafe, so we're going to look around in the surrounding towns and maybe a little further out from around Yale. The campus itself is gorgeous but right outside scares the bejeezus out of me, and the hospital isn't even on campus.
