Organic clohtes at Walmart?
I am skeptical.... I tend to think walmart organics = Horizon organic milk.
However.... they have super-cute kids pj's, and honestly, I am going to buy regular kids pj's at Target otherwise. I keep my eye out for Hanna Andersson organic pj's, but they are really pricey even on sale.
Thoughts?
Re: Organic clohtes at Walmart?
The key difference here is, it's hard to mistreat a plant. It's not being sprayed with pesticides and that's what important, there's no "living conditions" to be concerned about as with Horizon.
Quite honestly, it's still probably produced under sweat shop like conditions for workers, but if the alternative is Target, I'd go for the organic option.
This EXACTLY.
I understand this. A member of my family worked there for 15 years, so Walmart = evil in my head. Still, I think from an environmental perspective, they are getting better. (Note, I didn't say they were good...) and there is no other retailer on earth with their kind of power, so maybe it is good to support the steps they are taking in the right direction?
