They are shooting a scene there which apparently involves a character that travels to New York.  All of the stuff that I have seen is VERY MUCH New Orleans. We are really excited about it.

Oh, ok . . . There were some rumors on NYC blogs that they were shooting some of the NOLA scenes in Greenpoint, which is a old  Polish neighborhood right next to mine. But that's probably much morel likely.

LOL, I have heard about some of said blogs.  No, they've done a pretty good job of keepin' it NOLA.

Glad to hear they are keeping it local.  Seems to me that people would be up in arms if they dared film it elsewhere.

On the other hand...they filmed Tokyo Drift in Downtown LA.  We had Japanese vending machines and street signs everywhere for a couple of weeks.
