Disposing of cleaners?

What is the best way to dispose of unused cleaners? They are unmarked bottles left behind when we bought the house so we don't have any idea what they are.

Re: Disposing of cleaners?

  • See if there is a hazardous waste disposal drop off in your city.  Most places have them, and you can drop them off there to be disposed of safely.

    This.

If you are having a hard time finding a place call poison control and they could probably direct you to the right place.

  • Or donate them to someone that will use them. They have already been purchased and made... you aren't going to be saving the planet by disposing of them rather than using them... I gave all mine to freecycle, and I know that places like women's shelters are always in need.
