anyone get their hair glazed/glossed in the salon?

I know there is a difference from what I have been reading, but I wanted to know if any of you ladies do one of these treatments. Is it worth it? Noticeable? I get my hairlighted, but have never had a gloss/glaze. I would like the extra shine.

No....but before I got pregnant I wanted to do this but never had the chance to.  I was told to try this to cover my few gray hairs since I don't have a lot and just want to cover them in my natural color and give my hair a nice sheen.  Now that's going to have to wait

I think what you are talking about is called a color shine. They have color shines that have no color which are just to bring out your natural shine and they have color shines that deposit more color into hair that is already dyed. I have done both in the past. You really notice the difference in both the shine and texture of your hair. I say go for it!

I do get my hair "glazed" or cellophane as some call it all the time. I did it every 3 months religiously leading up to my wedding. My hair was so shiny and healthy because of it. I still do it but not as often and I do the color one now. I highly recommend them. They leave your hair so shiny and full of strength.

Before I had nice dark brown color, which was never the color I really wanted. Since i have been getting "glaze" I have perfect  jet black hair because of this. I love it ! I try to get it done at least every 3 months.
