Sweet 16 - Did your team make it?
Did the team you normally cheer for make the sweet 16?
My team made it (Duke), but DH's (Georgia Tech) did not.

Yes - both of them - I root for Purdue (my alma mater) and UK (fan since birth). It was a great weekend.
I was also happy with the big 10 having 3 teams in the Sweet 16.
My alma mater is Western Michigan, but they didn't make it in. I normally root for University of Michigan, but I do root for Michigan State in basketball because I just have tons of respect for Tom Izzo, so yeah, I'm glad they made it today, and that's DH's team too.
Also, so glad that the Big 10 has 3 in the Sweet 16!

Oklahoma State got knocked out in the first round by Georgia Tech. I'm not surprised.
I was cheering for the Big 12 teams in general, but all but K-State are out. Gah. I was also cheering for Kentucky - I just like their team - so I'm glad they made it.

As for me, KU.. sigh. The way they played, they deserved to lose...
I suppose my 5 year old brother called me out. He said "Well, since we're Christian and Kansan, can't be we be happy one team won" ...

This is funny. I was cheering for all Big 12 teams, too (mostly for OState, though)... except KState. I just... can't cheer for them.
