I feel kinda silly asking this with History having just been changed forever!!! But how do you clean an oven... and how do you do it in a EF way?
Re: Cleaning your oven?!?!?!
Spritz down the inside with water and sprinkle baking soda around, especially where there is build up of gunk.
Walk away for 30 minutes.
Come back and wipe with a damp rag.
"Rinse" with another damp/wet rag if necessary.
Baking soda is amazing.

I think she was referring to the healthcare legislation passed last night.
For the oven, I just scrub drips/splatter with it with steel wool right after they happen. After it's cool I mean, but before baking them on further.
I was. We were watching CNN on TV when it passed, and DH had just turned on the oven and the two just seemed silly together... but I have to live with the smell of burning in my oven.
I want to say because my DH is crazy. He is an amazing chef, don't get me wrong, and does most of hte clean up... but a lot of his meals involve suspednign the meat or item over the pot so that drippings fall into the pyrex or pan... in a type of grilling or roasting... and I think this just causes a lot extra slop.
