As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I think my computer is toast
So my laptop no longer charges and is now making this lovely high pitched whine when it is on. I really need to back up all of my files on it before it goes kaput completely. One more thing to spend money on. I really need some retail therapy....

What kind of computer do you have?? I have a Gateway and it is doing that same thing. It sucks.

sounds like hard drive is failing and either battery or motherboard issue for power. unusual for them to fail so early. dumb question but i guess you have no warranty on it? right now is a great time to buy, back to school specials are everywhere. i think if you buy a mac right now they give you an ipod for free.
