Newlywed and New to the KC Boards
Hi, everyone! My name's Christi and I got married March 14th at The Loretto off 39th and Southwest Trafficway. I'm hoping to find awesome gals here like I did on TK, and to start off I have a very funny story to tell:
We had two ring bearers at our wedding. One of them decided it would be quite fun to literally growl the entire way down the aisle. He would randomly stop, turn around, hold up his hands in claws, and growl at whoever was near by. All of the guests are, of course, cracking up, so he continues on the entire way down the aisle.
The next day, MIL got a phone call from the boy's grandma. Apparently, he went home that night and told his mom, "Wasn't today great? I was such a good ring BEAR!"
We about fell off of our chairs laughing... =]

Love your story about the ring bear! I work with little ones, so I often get a chuckle out of the things they say. Just today one of my kiddos told me he loved the Cardinals and was going to watch when they played the Minsky's...???.... I asked if he meant the Yankees... "oh yeah, that's it!"

I'm new to the boards as well. I just got married Valentine's Day this year in my parents home in polo's, jeans, and tennis shoes and we served Gates BBQ afterwards. Our original wedding date was Oct 2010 to June 2010 to Valentine's Day. So needless to say I didn't use The Knot that often.
I hope to use The Nest alot more!
