I'm going to a potluck bbq this weekend, and I signed up to take cupcakes.
So, there will be about 20 - 25 adults and 10 or so kids from baby to 5 years old attending. (Most kids are in the 1 - 3 y.o. range.)
My cupcake recipe makes 24 cupcakes. Do you think I should double it and take a huge amount of cupcakes? Another gal said she's bringing cookies, and as far as I know the hostess isn't planning on another dessert. I am planning to make some of the cupcakes mini for the kiddos, but. . .??
Re: Party Food Question
I am crazy like that, too!
Thanks for the advice, ladies! I think I'll just fill the cups a little less than I normally might in case I can squeeze a few extra cupcakes out of the batch.

I'd bring 3 dozen. so up the recipe by 50%
I wouldn't even bother making mini cupcakes b/c the kids will go for the regular ones
Ditto. I'd rather have too much than not enough but that might just be me
