Baby in a high end Manhattan restaurant??? WHAT???
We have family coming in and they want us to join them for an 8:00 dinner at Tao or Buddahkahn WITH THE BABY!!! I know these places turn into a semi-nightclub feel once it turns evening and I feel weird bringing baby there for dinner. If it was a more family friendly place I wouldn't even question it. But I just know I am going to get looks from...well EVERYONE...and I doubt they have a changing table in the bathroom (LO is notorious for going poopy when we are in restaurants). We take him everywhere so he is used to being in restaurants, he is very good and really never cries.
What would you do?

I'd also go this route. Although honestly, if I could find babysitters (ILs/friends), I'd leave DD at home. Actually, she goes to bed at 8pm, so I most likely leave her home.
Bubblegum Explosion
Even though I have a child, I hate, hate, hate it when people bring their children to adult/non child friendly places. Get a sitter or go to a kid friendly place.
