Hartford Amtrak station

Hi ladies,

 I am going to be travelling out of the Hartford Amtrak station later this week and have never travelled out of there before. Does anyone know anything about the area, especially parking? Is there safe parking at the station or anywhere in the area? My car will be there overnight.

There are a couple of lots in the area, but I don't know how secure they are.  You might have luck parking at the lot at the hotel right in front of the station.

Definitely don't park at the train station lot...it's kind of a shady area after dark there.  I'd take Vicki's advice and park in the hotel's garage if they allow public parking.
