i was looking at the black one but i am not a big fan of the print either. such a ood deal though so i'm on the fence whether to get it or not :-/.

Great prices but the designs are so gender-specific (read: feminine) that I'll pass...I want one that both J and I can wear.  I am looking at the Ergo Sport (black only) or the regular one in Camel (since it's hot here and I think a lighter color might be cooler).

good deal, but yeah i think if you are going to spend the $ you may as well pay the 30% extra to get one you like since those are so loud. they occassionally come up on craigslist around here for about $70 (great condition).

my MIL bought mine so I picked the grey with embroidered stars, haven't used it yet though. doubt DH will use it much but it"s not that girly when he does. i did like the hawaiian print one a little but prefer the more plain ones

I felt the same way, but I bit the bullet and bought it.  Maybe I can color over some of the pattern with a black marker!

Definitely the cheapest I've seen anywhere for the Ergo--thanks for posting this, J! I just ordered the black one. I didn't think that the embroidery is that bad and if I end up not liking it in person, I'll just pick it off. I've done that before with numerous other things before and had good results so saving the extra $30+ is totally worth it to me.

I was stalking CL forever waiting for a deal -- here they have a high resale value, too.  Then I lucked out and found a black one in excellent condition for just $15!   From a mom whose baby was only 1 year old, too. 

Anyway, if you have time before baby, don't be afraid to keep looking... good deals do pop up if you have the patience to wait and search.  Even for hot items like the Ergo!

I agree!  I actually really like the black, but I don't think I could ever get MH to wear it, so I passed, too.  I'm registered for the plain black one with the camel lining.
