I just saw your reading blog. Wow girl 1 book a week. I don't know how you do it. I just finished Juliet, Naked and it took me a little over two weeks. Now I am reading The Help for the nestie book club. I don't think I will finish it by our next meeting date. It's a whole lotta book to read in a week.

I got so into The Help the last half of it that I ended up reading it REALLY fast.  I couldn't put it down.  You may finish it in time!

Michi - So far I really like it. But I am just on chapter 3. I am going to have to do some serious reading this weekend.

I read every day at lunch, which is the only way I have time to get through so many books!  I frequent the Nest Book Club board and Goodreads for ideas on what to read next. 

I definitely think you can finish The Help! I am looooving it so much! I'm taking it home tonight to finish it because I am so anxious to find out what happens next.

I read everyday before bed and that's how I get through books fast too!  If I have nothing to read at night I feel so weird.

I really got into The Help too. I only have a couple pages left but I read most of it in like 2 days. Can't wait for next week to meet some of you. DH says I'm a nerd for joining a book club.....this coming from the man who lines up for video games at midnight for special releases!

This is my husband too!! He is obsessed (and I mean OBSESSED) with Modern Warfare. Sometimes I have to put my foot down and if it comes to it, I am going to have to start hiding his XBOX.

Eli/Michi - I read during my lunch time and in the train ride home but I still can't finish a book in a week. I guess I am a slower reader than I thought. But my mission is to finish the book by next week.

Oh DH makes fun of me all the time for being in a book club.  He says I'm the only nerd that would read a book on a deadline after graduating from school.  I told him it's not true, there is a whole group of us!

I am glad to see I am not alone. Right now he is into Final Fantasy. He doesn't put that game down. In fact a few weeks ago something happened to the PS3 network were it was down for a day. He was so upset about it. He kept on going to the message boards to see when it would be fixed. I swear if there were such a thing as gamers annoynmous I would totally force him to go.

oh absolutely! Anthony has a problem, lol. Yesterday while I was making dinner he was playing his game and it was so loud and annoying that I finally yelled at him to please turn it off. He started whining "one more game, one more game..." I said "No! I know what your "one game" turns into. TEN games." Well two games later he was off the XBox and he was sooo proud of himself, you'd think he won the friggin Nobel prize. He was rubbing it in my face aallll night lol.

Gotta love sitting in the next room hearing things like "missiles launched....I'm going left, you go right....attack" followed by crazy cheering. I love to remind him that it's just a game....drives him crazy when I say that!

If anything were to ever cause my divorce with DH, I think it will be Modern Warfare. I hate that game sooooooooo much! Ok vent over! LOL
