lots of gentle hugs back to y'all
Re: Sooo....
Well, that was easy...lol. Off to go read.
I'm sorry your tubes are crappy! I still have hope, since now you are all cleaned out, and you did get pregnant before. I'm just glad you're moving forward and have options. Lots of love!
I'm glad he got your insides cleaned up and I'm glad he got a look at your tubes- even if they aren't doing what they are supposed to do- at least you know that. And knowing is half the battle- knowledge is power, love!
Like Lauren said- this isn't your stop sign. It's just a curve in the road. And your road has more curves than most, but it will make arriving at your destination that much sweeter.
Lots of love to you during recovery.
First of all I'm very gald your recovering quickly and feeling good. I'm so glad you've found out the causes of what is going on. And I am super happy your doctor is optimistic about you getting KU, even if it's later than sooner, I know it will happen for you and your DH. I wish ya'll all the best of luck, I feel like the ball is beginning to roll for you and this surgery was just to point it in the right direction.
I'm staying positive even though it is more than I expected. I have no doubt that we will get there. Thanks to the support of some rockin Novembies!
Again - LIVID at the old doctor for ignoring you so long when you clearly had issues. But those feelings aren't productive, you're on the right path now.
I know how incredibly frustrating this news must be, but like Veruca said . . . it's not a stop sign, it's a curve or a detour. At least you're better equipped and you finally know what's going on now.
Your doctor sounds amazing. I'm glad you finally have someone who knows what they're doing that you can trust.
Gentle hugs. You're on your way.
First, big gentle hugs!
I am so sorry for your craptastic tubes, but at least you know, and like Breanne said, knowledge is power. And like pp's have said, this procedure set and aimed you in the right direction towards hope and options, and ultimately your goal.
Keeping you in my thoughts as you continue to recover. Know that we're here for you to support you as you continue your journey.
**hugs gently**
I'm happy for the good news and agree that the bad news is a bump, not a road block.
I don't know a ton about IVF, but I do know that it was essentially invented at the Jones Institute in Norfolk, VA. I have a friend from high school who was one of the first IVF babies in the country in 1981. I know you have a lot to think about, but we're all behind you.
Karrey (just an fyi-I'm not a big hugger-you can ask Sasha one of my FB friends-she'll tell ya!, but) hugs to you!!!
I am glad they took care of you and you have some answers... I know they aren't exactly what you hoped for, but they are hopeful ones and it sounds like you are on the right track for having a LO... DH's ex had in utero-the turkey baster thing, I think? and they wound up with 3 beautiful kids-my SKIDS... Not sure what BM's prob was, but DH had some slow swimmers... I think it worked the first time... and then she went super early!
Things sound not great, but not horribly grim... I think you're on the right track and T&P to you that you are!!! As for the endometriosis... a close relative had it and had the surgery for it... and it hasn't returned. I take BCP so I don't have the symptoms of it, but if I forget... ugh- AF is NOT fun!...
Anyway... you're in my thoughts! Lots of great recovery and I hope this helps!
So glad the surgery went well and you are staying postive. You deserve all the support, we know that you'd be doing the same thing for us!
I'm glad to hear you're doing well even though there was some not so great news after surgery. I'm sending good thoughts that everything works out for you!
Hope you're feeling well today. Big yet gentle hugs.
I'm glad that you are recovering well. Sorry that the endo was so pervasive and that your tubes are not cooperating.
The whole IVF vs. old school is a hard decision. I understand that you are in a bit of a race against the clock for having babies before the endo grows back...but you did get pregnant before...but it took many cycles...
Am I correct in remembering that you have good IF coverage? So this decision is mostly a personal one (and not a huge financial one)?
We'll support you no matter which path you take.
Rest well, feel better, and know that your are in our thoughts and prayers.
TTC #1 13 cycles, CP 6/09, TTC #2 1 cycle
CDing, EP'd for 13 months for #1, BFing for #2
Pregnancy Hypertension - inductions at 39w, I grow big babies: DD was 9 pounds 1 ounce 22 inches, DS was 11 pounds even 22 inches - both vaginal deliveries
Our IF coverage is great but I can't take to long to make a decision because benefits can always change. It doesn't cover all of IVF though. WHich means that the choice is not only personal but also very much a financial decision.
Poop...I was hoping that money wasn't an issue too...

I am so sorry to hear after all that you have dysfunctional falopian tubes! Jeez, man! Hopefully getting all the cysts/endo tissue out of the way will be enough despite the tube issues and you'll be preggo asap.
