how is the homebuying process going? It's such a PITA, isn't it? Especially if you're looking at foreclosures... but there is hope. We closed a month late, but we closed.

PITA is right! Who'd have ever thought. We are looking at Foreclosures because thats all there really is up here. The few that are normal sales, are not what we are looking for or are over priced for the area.
I just want a house damnit! I'm sick of paying rent! LOL We are waiting to find out if an offer we put in last week was accepted. I am also the most impatient person in the world so this wait is taking forever, hence why short sales aren't something I can even look at.
We're putting in offer #11 this afternoon on an approved short sale that was just relisted about two hours ago (meaning we're offering without seeing the property!). I am so.***.over.it. Our last two offers we were told we were "guaranteed" the property and the listing agents won't return ours or our realtors calls. Last week we had three active offers going at once...
Every house we've looked at has been a short sale or foreclosure. There are no standard sales in the area we're looking.
