Haven't seen...

a person over the age of 9 months since Tuesday morning. Bored and crazy out of my mind!!

Tell me how your week is going so far!

Re: Haven't seen...

  • I remember those days. I use to feel like I got baby brain and could not hold an adult conversation when I stayed home with my son.

So far this week has been pretty nice. My birthday was Monday and the boys surprised me with a card, huge smiley face balloon, and orchids. I snuggled and played dress up super hero's with my son Noah all day, then DH came home early and we ate at ah-so, followed by a trip to the mall, and ending with ice cream cupcakes from Coldstone's.

We are still settling into our new digs, though I have not made many accomplishments this week. I have been really fatigued lately, not sure why.

Hoping to take a trip to Target, World Cost Plus Market, and the mall this evening to get a head start on Easter baskets.

We're having bean burritos with spanish rice for dinner tonight so the time spent in the kitchen should be pretty painless, plus I am sure DH will help. I am hoping he is able to make it home early tonight.

  • It's usually not this bad, but DH is out of town until Monday night, so it's just horrible!

Happy birthday! And what sweet boys you have!

We've lived here over a year, and I still have things to unpack. But I was 6 months pregnant when I moved here, so i layed in bed most of the time.

I want to go to the store, but to pack him up, take him to the store, pack him up again and load the groceries, and then unload all of that, it's too tiring! hah, I'm lazy.

Dinner sounds good. I don't cook while DH is gone, I eat out of the freezer. :)

  • Thanks for the b-day wishes!
  • I am trying to reply but either my computer or the Nest is being all wiggy! Anyway, yes it is super hard taking the little one's out and about to run errands. If we have another baby I going to get a baby sling and use that until they are big enough for a stroller. The Infant carriers are too heavy and make doing things too difficult.

Good for you! Take it easy and enjoy yourself when DH is gone. My DH may be having to be out of town quite a bit, not sure how I am going to handle it. I will probably eat things that he doesn't like to eat, have more time for at home mani's/pedi's & facials, and spend a bunch of time on the net LOL :-)

  • Baby is big enough to sit in the cart, but that brings in the grabby hands lol.

DH is gone a lot during the summer. He works with festivals so he's gone tons. But this summer I get to go to San Francisco to nanny for my sister for three weeks next month, and going home to my parents for June and July. So it won't be as bad as last summer. Baby was born June 14 and DH left June 20. Not a good time!

  • Sorry you're so bored & crazy out of your mind.  I'd prob. be the same way.  No babies for me yet though.

This week is pretty exhausting, but it's flying by, so that's a good thing.  I started working 2 12hr shifts & 2 8hr shifts this week, plus I'm on days & was on nights last week, so it's got me all screwed up!  I'm just hoping the rest of the time til June/July goes so quickly & I can find a good job out there.  Tom. afternoon starts my weekend off though & I plan to do nothing but relax tom. night, then bachelorette outing on Sat., & the usual lazy Sunday.  :)

  • I'm okay- it's been a rough week and it just keeps getting rougher.  Tomorrow I have to face a rough HR situation with one of my employee's-lame.  Plus MIL & FIL situation's- ugh just exhausting.

I've also beaten myself up pretty badly (emotionally) just in terms of hearing everyone get pregnant (SUPER happy for Erin, please don't get me wrong- and it's not so much like that stuff) but the people who are like, oh we weren't trying and whoops we're pregnant- it's like really, please stop rubbing it in.  I get it, they're happy and we're happy for them, but it's also crappy being on the other side.

Really- I'm just ready for this week to end =)
