Re: Weekend plans?
The painters are coming! We've done some painting ourselves, with help from family, but we're pretty burnt out on it at this point, and with all the unpacking we still have to do, we decided to call in a pro to take care of the rest of the painting for us. I got an estimate earlier this week, and was told that it will all be DONE by the end of the weekend - wahoo!!!! I am SO excited for everything to be painted so I can hang curtains and feel like things are coming together more.
We also have a small baby shower this weekend at my mom's house.
The bad news is that Cecilia has to work for almost the entire weekend...including during the baby shower. It's a long story, and we're pretty upset about it, but there is just plain no way that she can get out of work. So I'll be at our shower alone, and luckily, it's not our one and only shower - C will be with me at the one with the other side of my family next weekend.

Tonight we'll hang out at home. The kids were out of school for the past 2 days with the stomach flu, so they'll probably be pretty wiped out after their first day back at school.
Saturday - L is going to work on school stuff. The kids and I are going to return stuff to Comcast and then I think I am going to take them to a Family Fun Day at the Class AA baseball park or if it is too chilly we'll go to the observation deck/play area at the airport. No idea what we'll do as a family post-nap.
Sunday - L is taking to see How to Tame your Dragon at the theater (they are so excited!) and I am going to use that time to buy a few things for our upcoming trip.
Tonight I have an interview for my research. After that we'll go glasses shopping for Christine. Then we'll have dinner/movie watching/cuddle time at home.
Tomorrow morning we're going to walk over to a huge annual rummage at a local private school. There's supposed to be some great deals on good quality stuff--especially home stuff. Then in the afternoon we'll try to finish taxes so we don't have to think about it anymore.
Sunday we'll (hopefully) sleep in and then work on some stuff around the house, including cleaning, hanging the last of the upstairs curtains (in the guestroom/future nursery) and maybe some gardening if it's nice, before I head to work overnight on Sunday.
My mom's birthday is this wekend so we will be celebrating with her one day. It's so pretty here so we will try to get the girls out as much as possible. We have to prepare for court so there be lots of phone calls/emails etc. I am really feeling the need to declutter and if I get into a zone I may get a lot accomplished this weekend.
