Feeling so BLAH

I don't want to go to work tonight.  It's Friday afternoon and the sun is shining. Oh, and I've already heard that four people have called off.  The staffing at my facility is terrible.  The LPN in charge of the schedule says that 2nd shift is "staff-challenged." Just say it, you're freaking out.  Don't pretend you've got everything under control because we all know that you don't.

Oh, and we're having company tonight.  I cleaned my house.  Sort of.  The guest room is clean and I picked up/dusted.  It'll have to do.  They're only here until tomorrow.  Besides, my house will never be as clean as their apartment.  She's a substitute teacher like, two days a week, so she has time to clean. I logged 100 hours over the last two weeks, so excuse me if my house isn't spotless.

Thank goodness it's my weekend off.  I really want to work on a quilt that I'm starting, as well as a table runner for my gigantic IKEA coffee table.

End of whine-fest.  Have a wonderful weekend!

    Mike (hubs) and Ty got the tile laid in the bathroom while Jami and I did some shopping.  We came across an amazing clearance rack at Kohl's. Cool

    Jami also helped me cut pieces for my quilt, which I am sewing away at. Hopefully the top will be done by this time next week, but no promises. 

    This week I am working on my sleep schedule.  Currently I get off work at 11 and don't go to bed until 2AM, which means I sleep until nearly 11AM.  I hate going to bed when I get home, but I need to. I'm not getting anything done anymore.  Plus, I feel better when I get up at 8AM.
