Heeeeeeeeeey Ladies!!!!

What's up girls!? It's been forever since I've posted! Now that I am back to the grind at work, I have some nesting time again. :)

Baby girl is awesome....growing like a weed. She's my little chunky monkey right now.

Anyway, I need camera recommendations. I am happy to report that I just busted my old one yesterday so now I have an excuse to get a new one! I can spend around $500?  I was thinking about the Nikkons that are at Costco right now. Thoughts?

Great to be back!

Re: Heeeeeeeeeey Ladies!!!!

  • Welcome back! We got the Nikkon D40 from Costco a while back and love it. (I think a few of us I have them on here) It's been really easy to use and has given us a lot better pictures than the point and shoot
  • Thanks JD! I just found a photography board on the bump. Who knew? They have a FAQ section and it's been OOBER confusing. I just want to take good clean and clear pictures. I dont want to be a pro. Are the settings pretty easy to learn?

  • Are you looking for a point & shoot or a DSLR? I have a Canon PowerShot A640 (which will be three years old in May) and it still takes fantastic pictures so I highly recommend another one from that line. We've been very happy with it & I nearly lost my sh!t last year when I thought I lost it because it's been a great in-between for a standard P&S and a heavy DSLR.

I bought it from Costco for about $300... and from what I saw when I thought I was going to have to replace it, it's still running $225-300.

If you shoot me an email or a message on Facebook I'll send you a link to Bella's flickr account so you can see how the photos look.

  • I was looking for a DSLR. Right now, after reading HUNDREDS of reviews the Canon Rebel XS is looking like a great option. I am finding some great deals on Amazon. What do you think?  I'll hit you up on facebook to see your pics! :)

  • Hi!! P is soo cute :-) I have a Canon XTi rebel that's a DSLR that we bought from Costco and has been great. We've been using this for all of our travels since 2008. There are some pictures on my blog (link in siggy) that have been taken with this camera. The XS is pretty similar to the XTi just the newer version within the Canon DSLR family.
  • Thanks Ness! Just found a killer deal on Amazon for the Canon Rebel XS and bought it. Can't wait to use it! Love your siggy. She's so stinkin adorable!! :) Girls rule!
