I can't seem to find where the GMO guide is that I got from one of the ladies on this board. I was just at Tader Joe's this evening and I asked one of the ppl that works there if they knew about Morningstar Farms or their own Trader Joe's product's using GMO's. He had no idea. Do you ladies know?

Re: Morningstar Farms GMO ?
My Lunch Blog
Got this from the website....won't be buying their non organics products any more....
Question:
Are Morningstar Farms?, Worthington?, Loma Linda?, or Morningstar Farms Made with Organic Soy? products made with non-GMO ingredients?
Answer:
The ingredients we use have been approved by the appropriate regulatory authorities and all of our products comply with food labeling requirements in markets where they are sold throughout the world. We recognize that some Worthington Foods consumers may prefer foods that do not contain biotech ingredients, so we offer Morningstar Farms Made with Organic Soy products which are made with non-biotech ingredients. At this time, all of our other Morningstar Farms products contain biotech ingredients.I find that if the list of ingredients is so many sentences long that they have to write it in tiny, tiny type then there's undoubtably some GMO products in there. 97% of soy and 80% of corn, the two biggest components of processed food, are GMO. Even if their organic products have organic soy, unless the whole product is certified organic it's likely some of the ingredients like the binders and coloring are GMO. IMHO, the best way to cut out GMO is to try and avoid processed food.
