XP: gardener gift question

(also on my local board)

We're putting together a gift basket of fancy garden things for my stepfather for father's day.

I'm thinking both fun things that he likes but are frivolous and not something he's going to spend money on while he's setting up the garden (vegetable so they can eat out of it) and also to buy nicer quality of a few things then he'll want to invest initially since it's such a large endeavor.

So far we have tomato cages. Any other suggestions?

TIA!
