I need inspiration for my son's baptism celebration in June for 25 guests at my home. I want to keep it simple. The baptism is 2-3pm so the celebration could begin at 3:30 or 4pm.
Should we serve a meal or just finger foods? Maybe just cake and champagne? What are your thoughts?
Any ideas on menu, decor, favors, music, drinks, etc.
Re: Baptism Celebration
You'd probably be fine to just do dessert and coffee/champagne. I do like the idea of appetizer-style desserts, though. Some of these desserts might work for you, particularly the pavlovas.

I think that for the time of the celebration, finger foods are totally fine. I would suggest having some hot, some cold and some app-style desserts like PP mentioned.
For decor, I think you can keep everything white. Or white/yellow or white/green.
For favors, how about some pretty white cookies? Or a photo of your son with the date on it?
For music, I would suggest jazz or bossa nova.
For drinks, you could do bottles of water, juice boxes for kids, beer, and sparkling wine or sparkling juice.
HTH. GL!
Since it is in June... you could also do a picnic or bbq. Fresly Squeezed Lemonade, BBQ Chicken, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad etc. (all done in advance) would be really fun.
Congratulations! and Please let us know what you do.
