Florida Keys?

So DH & I are headed to the Floriday Keys in June! (one last adult vacation for awhile!) This is our first time there, but we've always wanted to go.  The plan is to fly into Miami & then drive our way down to the Keys & then back up, flying out of Miami.    We are planning on spending the most time on Key West just b/c I have heard that is where the most action is happening (and they also think they are the furtherest southern point of the US...ha! for any of  you that have been on the Big Island, we know better!)

Anyone been there before?  Suggestions?

I just had to go searching for some of the restaurants/bars I liked, it's been too long since I've been there!

Hog's Breath was ok, but I had to go there just for the name.  Sloppy Joe's was cool.  I remember a lot of good live music in Key West in general, but I can't remember the specific places - probably all different not anyway.  The human statues are neat, the sidewalk performers, and especially take in a good sunset.  Of course, you have to hit up Duval St for good people watching

I used to go to Key West a lot, but, of course, can't remember any of the restaurants I loved.  But I do have to recommend Mallory Square for sunset (totally crowded, but fun anyway) and frozen key lime pie on a stick dipped in chocolate!  Yum!!!

Thanks for all of the info!  I am so excited to get out of town & to go some place fun & tropical!  And of course, there will be lots of key lime pie in my future!
