Happy Monday ladies! How was your weekend? Do anything fun? What's up this week?

I had a good weekend.
I was at a writing retreat in Temecula all weekend, and it was a really great experience for me. I'm feeling much more invigorated about my writing now.
This week I'm on Spring Break.
fri: flew home friday night and met MH at friends for dinner. crashed early.
sat: went to the neighbor's kid's 4th birthday party at a bowling alley. oh joy. but there was a bar so beer made it a tad bit more tolerable. went to dinner, crashed early.
sun: worked in the yard, crashed early (notice the trend??)
this week: I'm in houston all week again. ;(
Friday--had class and ended up watching DVR and sleeping the rest of the night
Sat--total princess day. Got glammed up and danced the night away at the ball. Came home and watched SNL
Sun--errands, cleaning, preparing for the week
This week I'm going to crank it in high gear and get a ton of things off my plate at school...
friday was an unsuccessful trunk show at a local beauty event. it was free, so people weren't opening their wallets for anything.
saturday was my launch party, but although the wine bar is super cute, it's set back from the street and doesn't have a lot of foot traffic. made a few sales, so it wasn't a total loss.
yesterday we headed out to malibu/santa monica and enjoyed the perfectly gorgeous day. oh, and may i say: h&m's garden collection is fab.yoo.lus.
this week i have a fun junior league mani/pedi social and then i'm off next week since it's the teen's spring break. yay!
I had a decent weekend.
Friday- my daughter went to her dad's, I went to the gym then had a quiet night in.
Saturday- breakfast with friends, gym and lunch with my brother, shopping, UFC, drinks with friends
Sunday- errands, picked my daughter up, dinner at my mom's
This week I'm going to take a tour of the preschool I'm sending my daughter to. We're also coloring easter eggs on Wednesday with friends.

Had a great weekend. Friday we celebrated our anniversary at home. Dusted 3 bottles of Champagne and had a good night
Saturday we went out to breakfast and then went to a birthday party that afternoon for one of my Coworkers daughter. Still recovering from the Champagne overload the night before I went to bed at 8:30 on Sat night.
Sunday: We went to Costco and cleaned the house.
Good times.
This week hoping to hear about the house we've had an offer on for more than a week. Talked to our realtor on Sat and she said they are just decidng between us and one other buyer. So crossing our fingers it's us. Please!!!!
And this Friday we are flying down to OC for my hubs bday and Easter! Yay!
Saturday: Heard back from the sellers on house #11, our offer was accepted & we're under contract (approved short sale, so we're still waiting on some bank red tape). Adoption event with the foster puppy who got adopted. Birthday party in the evening for R's uncle.
Sunday: Brunch & then came home and napped through the afternoon since Bella is teething. Ring shopping & then the drive-in to see How To Train Your Dragon & Percy Jackson.

My weekend was nothing special. MH is on a HUGE deadline for Wednesday, so he worked all weekend. We did get to squeeze in a netflix movie on Saturday and lunch/coffee yesterday. I also attempted to leave Zara with my mom for a little bit to get a break. Wasnt super successful but we've got to start somewhere!
This week should be an interesting mix.
Our weekend plans fell through so we stayed home all weekend.
Fri: started day 1 of couch to 5k and relaxed the rest of the day
Sat: bike ride and relaxing
Sun: Saw The Bounty Hunter, laundry, cooked dinner and watched The Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Today: Is finally D-day at J's work. All DM's were instructed to be in their home offices today and tomorrow. We've been waiting for this for months. We think we are staying here in FL this time though.
oh no! I'm assuming d-day means they are doing cuts? do you think he's going to be let go?
They are cutting 95 jobs in J's division alone. About 800 worldwide for now...and this after all their cuts last year that landed us here in FL. We are almost positive he is keeping his job and we will be staying here in FL. We were hoping to relocate elsewhere.....but no such luck this time!

This weekend was great if not brief! I had dinner with some lovely ladies, book club, and spent the rest of the weekend reading, catching up on the DVR, and some house projects.
This week: woooooooork. Boring.

sadly, I know how you feel. at this point, I'm just telling myself I'm lucky to have a job (and not have to worry about a crazy mortgage, either).
Happy Monday! My weekend was nice but all too brief.
Fri: I was still riding the John Mayer high from Thursday night, had the day off and ran errands, studied, and cleaned out my DVR.
Sat & Sun: I had school and stressed over finals coming up, went to the gym, cleaned out my Google reader, and read.
This week should be fun. I'm off Mommy duty thanks to Spring break and have made plans to catch up with friends I haven't seen in awhile already this week.

SO's family was in town so this weekend was spent doing Wii dance offs and Blue Moon fest.
My arms are so sore from the dance offs! That is a good work out, for realz. I want one.
This week I have to get on track with cleaning and bringing my lunch to work to avoid obscene eating out bills.
This weekend I am going to hang with some family members I have not seen in a very long time. Looking forward to it!
