Daycare questions

Due to my work situation I might have to put my DD in some kind of daycare/childcare.  Its only a few hours from the time I need to leave for work to the time my DH gets off work.   Just 2 days a week.  I have no clue if daycare centers would take a child for something like that.  I never prepared for this as my DH and I have worked for our company for over 16 years.  This is straight out of left field and unfortunately all my coworkers with babies are in the same spot.  TIA!

Re: Daycare questions

  • That's a tough one.  I don't know of any daycares that would only do a few hours 2 days a week, but then I never really researched part time hours.  I think your best bet may be to find someone to come to your house for those time periods.  I have a friend who found someone on a website.  In fact, I think she might have posted it on here in a different post.  I will ask her what it was and FB message it to you.  Good luck!
  • I think the website was care.com.
