Whats Everyone Doing for Easter?
Anyone getting their DH or in-laws a gift/basket? What are your plans?
Re: Whats Everyone Doing for Easter?
We aren't doing gifts...trying to save as much as possible for whenever we get a house and/or pregnant.
No plans right now....I didn't realize it was next week until yesterday! HA
We'll be in Scottsdale still for DH's birthday. I didn't realize it was Easter weekend, untill after I booked the hotel. Not that it would have made any difference, though. We don't usually exchange gift baskets or cards either, as we're also trying to save some money.
I'm very excited for Easter Sunday, it's one of my absolute favorite occasions to celebrate!
We'll have church Thursday, Friday, and then we always do this AMAZING sunrise service on Easter Sunday. We're hoping to then have breakfast/brunch at the Farm with some family.
After that, we're going to see Disney on Ice for my sister's birthday with my parents, followed by a wonderful Easter dinner.
We don't do gifts. Once in awhile I'll get DH a little something...but we don't make it a habit.
I love easter though - simply for it being such a nice, relaxed holiday. We'll be having brunch at my Mum's house. I just wish we had Monday off work
We have a family gathering on Saturday and another on on Sunday. I dont do gifts but I might get my nephew something.

We thought we had zero plans for Easter. Both of our families are in town, yet neither side mentioned anything. So, we created this great menu and thought we would spend the day just the two of us.
Today we both came home saying our families wanted to get together on Sunday. So now we are trying to juggle two sets of plans. Oh well, at least now we feel loved.
No gifts or Easter baskets for us. We'll just enjoy our family time.
This is basically what we have planned--except no Disney on Ice-what's up with that? Dear friend Jenn, I wanna go!?
Anywho, I always get the hubs whatever he gave up for lent--which is like 5 things-soda, chocolate, red meat etc and something random. I love Easter! As a side note, my little one tried to eat our egg dye today-woot for my crazee child, I wasn't even home to witness it...
