We took a four day weekend and worked A LOT in our yard. This is what hubby built me:
Its a veggie garden! I know it doesn't look like much but he did have to dig out a bunch of rocks and weeds from the area where it sits. I have already planted lettuce and rainbow chard and also my tomato seedlings. I will be planting squash, onions, carrots and strawberries when it gets a little warmer.
Re: AWing my hubby.

Sweet!!! We did ours-sort of-the other week... I'm still waiting for the day he brings home um. dirt. yep. waitin on the dirt. But it feels really good to do that, doesn't it?!
KUP with your crops! I hope to try lettuce this year and maybe brussel sprouts later on.
That's terrific!
Awww yay! I know how much you love doing this kind of thing and how sweet he is for doing it. Out here, we are supposed to start our Strawberries in the fall but I hope since we had such a cold winter, I can start them now and they wont be affected. We did our tomatoes two weeks ago. I wish I could do green onions but I would need a sweet hubby to build a box for me.
How cool! I really want a vegetable garden, but we have some kind of animal living in our backyard (mole, maybe?) and a problem with the soil (nothing grows, not even grass).
I can't wait to see pictures of your veggies this summer!
